Representing Iveco Group companies in a dispute worth EUR 0.63 Mio against its previous dealer Ive Motors SIA, which became insolvent. The dispute involved several complex legal aspects concerning the jurisdiction, applicable substantive law and others.

Successfully appealing the decision of Oshmyany Custom Department (Belarus) for Miliam Reisid OU in regard to violation of Belarusian customs procedure for temporary admission of goods, as well as non-payment of VAT and custom duties.

Acting on behalf of the Moller group companies in administrative proceedings and competition litigation against the Latvian Competition Council in a case concerning an alleged cartel and a record fine on one group of companies of EUR 7.4 mio.

Assisting ALD Automotive Russia on establishing a representative office in Belarus, as well as advising on employment, corporate, tax and car leasing issues.

Advising KW Bruun OU, the Peugeot car importer into the Baltic States, on compliance of their distribution agreements with competition law.

Conducting a tax due diligence for MAZKONTRAKTLEASING - subsidiary of the leading producer of trucks and buses in CIS.

Advising Auto Halle, a distributor of Suzuki, Peugeot, Seat, Hyundai and Isuzu cars in Latvia, in distressed situation arising from EUR 5 Mio loan issued by Swedbank. We assisted with the negotiations with the bank, legal protection proceedings, insolvency process, project planning and eventual refinancing of the company.

Advising IVECO Group in negotiations with a Latvian debtor in handling various aspects of insolvency, guarantee enforcement and further financing of the supplied vehicles as well as Latvian litigation procedure. The amount of debt was in excess of EUR 0.6 Mio.

Advising CNH International, a part of automotive group Fiat, on legal aspects of industrial leasing contracts financed by Nordea bank in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
