Our partner Julija Jerneva and legal assistant Janis Sarans have prepared the chapter in the latest edition of the Getting the Deal Through Merger Control 2016, which focuses on main regulatory issues in Latvian jurisdiction, such as jurisdictional thresholds for submitting of merger notification, penalties for failure to notify, substantive test of clearance, phases of merger investigation and many more. The chapter also includes some guidance in current proposals to change legislation as well as some most recent updates and trends in case law.
