VILGERTS represented Piasten GmbH in court case regarding cancellation of the registration of the Latvian national trademark TREETS owned by MARS Incorporated due to non-use of the trademark. The court ruled to cancel TREETS registration in Latvia.

Representing AS Air Baltic Corporation before the court in a civil dispute with SIA Baltic Taxi where the client asks for invalidation of the conflicting trademark registrations and use prohibition. The first instance court and appellate court ruled to satisfy our client’s claim. The case in pending for review at the Supreme Court.

Representing Red Bull GmbH in trademark invalidation proceedings against trademark PITBULL. Initially Board of Appeal upheld the opposition only partially and the client filed for appeal. The court ruled in favour of Red Bull and invalidated the PITBULL trademark registration completely.
